BearsWIN (Women's Impact Network) is a network of advocates who honor the impact of
women by addressing the most pressing needs of students at MSU. We optimize our time,
talent and resources to turn big ideas into measurable and meaningful change for Missouri
State University.
BearsWIN key areas of support
The BearsWIN Degree Completion Fund was established to assist students who have some
financial-support needs in order to complete a degree. On average, the degree completion
grant award is $2,232.
Seventy-one percent of college students said they were struggling with stress, anxiety
and depression. The BearsWIN Mental Wellness Fund provides financial assistance for
students seeking counseling or psychiatric services at Magers.
Studies found 11% of college students are considered neurodivergent. The GrizzliesWIN
Mental Wellness and Neurodiversity Fund at MSU-West Plains benefits select students
